As the founder of Veritas, Mark leverages his extensive knowledge and industry experience to create momentum and growth for the business.

Matthew Simpson

Henry Vail

Henry is a qualified Solicitor and Chartered Loss Adjuster. He has 40 years of experience in the investigation and adjusting of insurance claims of all types, with an emphasis on liability claims. Henry has also worked as a Claims Executive for a major broker. Identifying the effective cause of a loss and the correct parties involved are his particular focus.

Dennis Holloway

Dennis is a Chartered Loss Adjuster with extensive experience assessing first and third-party property claims. Tony Mazoski

Tony joins us from an extensive background in the building industry as well as nearly 15 years as an assessor and estimator with major insurers Suncorp, CommInsure and Budget Direct. Tony specialises in the assessment of third-party property claims including the highly specialised Victorian Plumbers Warranty scheme. His in depth knowledge of construction practices and costings provide clients with advices featuring meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in their findings. He considers this inevitably leads to fair and reasonable outcomes for all parties, which Tony considers to be the most satisfying aspect of his job.

As an accredited Personal Injury Law Specialist and a lengthy background in insurance law, Geoff now specialises as a factual investigator in the assessment of complex personal injury claims. The majority of Geoff’s career has involved insurance-related work encompassing significant numbers of professional indemnity, public liability and personal injury claims. He also has vast experience conducting detailed investigations of claims and writing comprehensive advices and recommendations.

Sarah-Jayne Myers

Sarah-Jayne is a qualified solicitor with 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. Sarah-Jayne prides herself on her integrity, professionalism and effective communication and stakeholder negotiation skills. She considers the most satisfying part of her job is being able to accurately determine the facts of a matter and producing a quality investigation that enables a fair determination of a claim.

Elizabeth Cross

Elizabeth has been specialising in the investigation of complex personal injury claims for over 20 years. The challenge of bringing evidence together and clarifying discrepancies, as well as the variety of being exposed to new industries, activities and environments are the aspects of Elizabeth’s role that she most enjoys.

Darshan Paul

Darshan brings a diverse set of skills with 19 years of experience in business management in Australia and New Zealand and 14 years with the Victoria Police Crime Squads and inner-city Criminal Investigation Departments. He was the General Manager of a prominent national investigations group prior to establishing his own investigations group in 2020, which operates in association with Veritas to undertake skip tracing, process serving, surveillance and fraud investigation services.
